Building intensity in our network is an integral part of our on-going 100 year planning philosophy. However it’s not just new branches we have opened – we are also building and expanding branches in our current locations.

These critical infrastructure improvements ensure we have the right platform to deliver quality services and expand on our service capabilities 

Bunbury, Western Australia

We have recently opened a satellite depot, in the South West of Western Australia, one of Australia’s fastest growing regions. Our line haul units move freight into the new depot daily and our Bunbury owner drivers are picking up and delivering freight throughout the region, including:

• Busselton
• Dunsborough
• Augusta
• Albany 
• Margaret River
• Collie

Brisbane, Queensland

Owens Transport, our dedicated in-house wharf cartage division/brand moved into their purpose built facility in July, 2015. Located right in the Port of Brisbane it includes:

• 1500m2 depot
• 10,000m2 hardstand
• Capacity for 560 TEU and 35 reefer points

Melbourne, Victoria

Our new freight development consists of two separate buildings connected by a breezeway which combines our transport and logistics services in one supersite on 11 hectares of land. Located in Epping in Melbourne’s northern suburbs puts right on the Hume Highway (the main arterial road between Sydney and Melbourne) and other key motorways.

Perth, Western Australia

Logistics & Air and Ocean

Our team has moved into their new facility located at the airport to ensure efficient access for urgent air freight. Combined with our Logistics team, the new facility coasts 10,000m2 of warehousing space, 1300m2 of hardstand and 10 dock levellers

Transport

Due to be completed in October, 2015, the purpose built supersite is being constructed on 3.2 hectares of land and features:

• 8,775 fully docked depot
• Additional 13,300m2 hardstand

Townsville, Queensland

Refurbishment and extension has doubled the size of our depot and undercover operational area to 2,870m2 – completed July 2015.
