Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we understand the current challenges and disruptions to both airfreight and seafreight shipments. In order to cope with many blank sailings and cancelled flights, our teams are hard at work to offer different solutions such as:

Air freight in particular has taken a big hit with many passenger flights cancelled and rates reaching the highest we’ve ever experienced. The volatile space and price situation of airfreight in both Q1 and Q2 has forced customers to consider charter as the option to meet their supply chain requirements. PPE (3ply masks) from China was the most common commodity in charters and we have seen this trend fall over time as supply is replenished.

Now we are seeing a surge in inquires for Nitrile gloves from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam and we are planning charters from those origins. PPE will continue to be a hot commodity in the coming months and we are proud to be able to provide this service to help deliver supplies to protect against this pandemic. From January to June we have arranged total of 41 charters to New Zealand, Europe, and the USA.
