Mainfreight Branch Developments | Australia | February 2014

At Mainfreight we continue to invest in our future; in our people, in new facilities, new businesses and new operations. To ensure customers receive the highest quality freight services we have committed to more than $150 of capital expenditure for branches around Australia and around the world, with acquisitions of land and construction underway in major cities including:

  • Construction of two new buildings for Transport and Logistics is almost complete (May 2014)
  • New purpose built depot including temperature-controlled facilities for our Perishables air freight operation is well underway and will be completed for occupation by our Air & Ocean team in April 2014

SYDNEY

MELBOURNE

  • Redevelopment and extension of our perishable air freight building in Tullamarine for our Air & Ocean team has been agreed. Completion of these works will be mid-2014
  • We have conditional agreement on the purchase of  11 hectares of land in Melbourne's north for the immediate construction of a major Logistics and Transport

PERTH

  • We are actively seeking suitable site where we can construct a purpose-built supersite for all of our businesses in Perth.
