Christchurch Freight and Logistics Super Site Redevelopment | Stage One Complete

Construction on the Christchurch Freight and Logistics Super Site has reached another milestone. The super site will deliver a new world-class freight terminal with three segregated warehouses on the same site. The quality of the facilities will allow us to grow our existing services we are currently providing our customers.

The construction will take place over 3 stages. The reason being is we are extending and rebuilding on our existing site on McApline St, Sockburn Christchurch. The staged plan will allow little or no disruption to the operation throughout the rebuild.

The design of the site complies with much stricter building codes of compliance regulations since the Christchurch earthquake in 2011. During the planning of the new site our team’s safety and the welfare of your products has remained our paramount concern. 

Stage one is now complete 

With 8,500m² of food grade logistics warehouse plus office space complete. The warehouse was built on clear land that was purchased some years ago, with the intention of expanding our existing warehouse. The new warehouse features include sealed container unloading docks, high-tech security, new  earthquake-compliant engineering racking systems just to name a few. 

Stages two and three will see remodelling on the existing warehouse and the most complex stage, the demolition and rebuild of the new world-class freight terminal.
