Yes, it's here again, the holiday season is fast approaching and it's time to consider your logistics solutions over this period.
If you are closed over the Christmas period and are expecting important shipments, it is important to advise us and send documents prior to your closure.
For FCL shippers, it is important to be aware of the high demurrage charges from shipping companies. If you are closed for more than one week it may be cost effective to have us arrange an unpack and storage of your cargo at our premises.
If there are large amounts of import GST, duty or freight that we may have to pay on your behalf over the Christmas season, you will be required to contact your account representative and discuss financial arrangements over this period.
Please fax/email back your office and warehouse closing dates so we don't attempt delivering during this period without contacting you first; please find form attached.
