Happy Birthday Mainfreight – 35 Today!
On the 6th March 1978 Bruce Plested’s Mainfreight vision was created, with just $7,000 and a 1969 Bedford truck. Today our 5,000 + team around the world celebrate this milestone together.
Through consistent expansion and acquisition Mainfreight has grown into the global Freight Forwarding and Logistics business we are today.
That Bedford truck now sits in the atrium of our Railway Lane branch in Auckland, New Zealand as a proud reminder of our humble beginnings and our drive to make a difference.
Mainfreight is built on a 100-year vision and that 100 years starts today - every day. All decisions are made on the basis that we will be here for another 100 years.
