Service Announcement - Tasmania Severe Weather | June 2016

Please be advised Tasmania is experiencing adverse weather conditions causing disruptions and affecting the transportation of freight.

Some towns received upwards of 190mm of rain forcing the closures of more than 100 roads across the state.

The storms and debris left in the Mersey River on the northwest coast of Tasmania forced officials at the Port of Devonport to close down the port to all commercial traffic. According to reports the dock has detached itself which has seized operations at this time.

Our team will be making every effort to minimise the impact on operations, but delays may be unavoidable in these conditions. Our drivers will be on the roads making deliveries when it is clear and safe to do so.
