Mainfreight Financial Results for the six months ended 30 September 2016

Mainfreight is pleased to announce a record half-year financial performance to 30 September 2016. Net profit after tax and before abnormal items over the same period last year was $42.33 million; an increase of 27.7% over the previous six months.

Sales revenue for the last six months increased; 2.5% to $1.14 billion (excluding foreign exchange effects the increase is 4.2%). Our EBITDA result also set a new record at $86.35 million; an increase of 20.6% over the prior half year’s result (excluding foreign exchange effects the increase is 22.1%).

This result continues our trend of producing better financial performance year on year.
