Change to Board of Directors

Back in July our senior Director, Don Rowlands, indicated his intention to retire at the end of this year.

The Mainfreight Board of Directors held its last meeting for the year in Sydney over the past two days, and Don formally tendered his resignation at the conclusion of the meeting.

Attached is a copy of the announcement released to the market this morning advising of Don’s resignation.

Don is an extraordinary man and we as a company (and also many of us as individuals), have benefited greatly from his disciplined and honourable approach to business, his intelligence and empathetic style of leadership.

We are sad to see Don go, but we know that he will retain his keen interest in the Company and will continue to be a sounding board when needed.
